At the ongoing IAFS2026 in Sofia, Dr Charles Karangwa today delivered a presentation highlighting Rwanda as Africa’s next regional forensic hub and a strategic destination for international forensic collaboration. He emphasized Rwanda’s unique model of an independent forensic institution integrating cross-cutting forensic disciplines under one entity — a rare approach across many African countries in the forensic science domain. Dr. Charles is leading the Rwandan delegation participating in , currently taking place at the National Palace of Culture.
