@dustychipura Inconsistency of intelligence. It is expected in society that you are able to access your intellect at all times. The fluctuations of energy and bad recall memory that come with #ADHD mean that I cannot meet these expectations.

Most people with ADHD struggle with short-term, working memory, and it contributes to us misplacing things, forgetting or skipping instructions, and more. But losing info from short-term memory also means we can't prepare that info for storage. Hurting our long-term memory too

Having patience is so important for a parent of an ADHDer and as one. I’m just now reaching milestones I should have reached 10 years ago, such as getting my license. Yes it’s frustrating, but I’m happy I’m moving in the right direction and I know how far I can go.
