@TheCareerNomad_ @MaryAnnreports discourage honesty. From what I remember, anytime anyone admitted a potential bias, they were always thanked for it. I suppose the judge could have yelled at him during a break, but I can't imagine he would force a juror onto a murder trial. Would be an issue on appeal.

When the amount listed is $8M, claiming that the GOP is talking about transgenic mice is even more idiotic than the GOP calling mice transgender.

@HRayketh @Dolan__Ryan @JakeSherman Sorry, I was using shorthand due to character limits. The studies were doing stuff like injecting large amounts of androgens into female mice. Yes, female mice obviously produce and need androgens, but at a lower level than male mice.

Most of the research seemed worth studying and the GOP should be countered on that basis. Not on the absurd belief that they mixed up transgender and transgenic.

@BoGardiner1 @JakeSherman Looking through the article in greater detail, I see that it is just straight up wrong in parts. The study it said was included in Trump's list because of transgenic mice was actually included because it injected androgens (male sex hormones) into female mice.

@BoGardiner1 @JakeSherman That obviously isn't about transgenic mice. There is no way that only $8M is being spent on research involving transgenic mice. The $8M is in reference to a variety of grants in studies that involved injecting sex hormones into mice of the other sex.
