@gregor_riegler The revert is forcing you to work in baby steps. As the sword of damocles is constantly hanging over your code, you don't want it to kill too much of your code. Maybe in a real setting this can be a bit too much, but for experimenting and learning purposes it helps a lot!

@gregor_riegler I heard about the second one in an interview before. The interviewer was pretty surprised when I told him I'm doing TDD in a legacy system as my usual daily business 😁

@gregor_riegler @alexbunardzic Kind of, yeah. It can be, that this test is green at the end, because I made it so with other smaller tests. But it can also be, that I forget to unignore this test, as I feel that everything is working now, as the other, smaller tests are already green

@Kev_C_Murray @allenholub @gregor_riegler I totally agree with you, people are no resources! To be honest I really didn't think about people. For me the word "resources" is a rather broad term and I never thought about calling a person a resource. I'm going to be more aware of using this word, especially in this context.

@allenholub @gregor_riegler I am a little confused here. I am used to having a project manager who manages resources, budgets and plans ahead. For these things I thought it makes sense for them to have some kind of estimated number to plan ahead. How are you handling these things without estimates?

@allenholub I just changed to another company because of people that prefer 400 line methods because "everything in there is trivial and it's too much to navigate through multiple methods" I tried to convince them it is the other way, but changing people is hard. So I changed my situation!
