What is the future of AI x Bio?
Yesterday in Copenhagen, we set out to answer exactly that. At the @novonordiskfond headquarters, we convened leaders across AI, biology, regenerative medicine, venture, and company building for a day-long symposium on Engineering Cell Fate—and what we believe will become the next AlphaFold moment for biology. 🧵
This week at the @KeystoneSymp on Computational Advances in Drug Discovery, our VP of Strategy @SamanthaDStrass gave a spotlight talk, and @baagmery, Principal Scientist in Computational Biology, presented on the poster floor — joining the conversation at the frontier of computational drug discovery.
Their talk and poster showcased our multiplexed platform and its ability to generate data at unprecedented scale — the foundation for our work toward a Universal Virtual Cell-Signaling Model that predicts context-dependent signaling response and, ultimately, controls cell fate. This unlocks a range of applications: iPSC-based disease modeling, drug response prediction, target identification, and protocol design for cell therapies.
These capabilities turn biology from a trial-and-error science into predictive engineering.

We are incredibly energized by the breakthroughs happening alongside us, and believe that as we learn causal cellular grammar, we are building a future where biology is no longer destiny, but design.
By capturing this scale, we can look at biology not as static states, but as dynamic transitions. We are moving away from empirical trial-and-error to essentially learning the grammar of cellular decision-making, which fundamentally transforms how we can engineer cell therapies and model disease.
