As a freelancer I have been monitoring WinUI jobs (among others). Virtually nothing out there (UK), and yet Microsoft are pushing this as the best platform for front-end desktop apps. At #MicrosoftBuild they are doubling down on this theme as they tidy up Win 11, but slow uptake?
I installed W11 2026-05 Preview Update (KB5089573) (26200.8524) yesterday afternoon and within two hours I had a hard crash. I needed to give my Bitlocker ID during the recovery. I have several browsers installed - Opera completely lost it's profile info (history and open tabs)🙄
@blueorigin "Rapid Unplanned Disassembly" is the conventional term for this I believe.
