My whole timeline about the Faye game is either chuds complaining about having to play as a woman and actual players who are sick of the over cinematic over the shoulder style of games. Everybody is miserable.

This doomerism is clearly not because "games don't release as frequently" ER, AC6, SOTE, and NR came out back to back 4 years in a row yet NR had people panicking that FS is going into a poor direction.
I don't know what happened with video game discussions to make it so that if a studio just so happens to release one game that's not up to par the entire perception around it will take an immediate 180. The doomerism is reaching a ridiculous level.
I just saw that new god of war showcase and it’s the most, “sure, I guess?” Thing I’ve seen this year. Gameplay certainly doesn’t look like DMC or Bayonetta with how the leaks described it but I’ll wait for more footage to see if I’m buying or not.

@Intelligent4You Now a days it’s not even that, you make one game that’s just not as good as the last one and suddenly it’s all over. Which is just stupid.
@Intelligent4You That’s exactly the point to an extent, DMC 4 is controversial and has its issues but people weren’t acting like it was the final nail in the coffin for capcom as a studio. This was despite the fact that capcom was fucking up a lot and they still turned it around.
@senkitaisen Dude capcom has a major stinker in like every IP in their catalouge and their still one of the best studios around. It's unwarranted to think a studio fell off just because they missed with one game.

Like dude imagine if the DMC 4 came out today bruh people would have Capcom on a pike just because it didn't live up to DMC 3. Even fromsoft who went 3 for 3 with ER, AC6, and SOTE people are so negative about the "direction of the studio" because they made a spin off.
@darthwindy_42 I want some of the older level design man, I yearn for another pandora’s temple. I got tired quickly of the levels in ragnarok so I hope they work on that.

@LittleMoonBoy1 It’s like 20 minutes and over a half of it was cinematics and the other half is the starting combat. That’s not enough to judge the combat or the game, dialogue is ass but I’m willing to overlook that if the game improves on other things like the levels.

It's clear from this showcase and how kratos was potrayed that the faye we saw in ragnarok was an idealized version of herself through kratos's eyes. We'll likely be seeing a true depiction of her this time with an idealized version of kratos popping up here and there.
Faye will be the protagonist in the new God of War spin-off game, God of War: Laufey
@CEOofYukari I just really enjoy him now that I'm in his shoes, he's extremely down to earth and now his dialouge doesn't come off as him expo dumping but rather just him being a curious fella, which I appreciate more.
I'm not gonna hold yall, Route B is not as bad I thought it would be, and I like the new story beats, but I'm not feeling the gameplay, I'm kinda just doing the main story with it and I don't feel like doing the 9S questlines. He's a very compelling character now though.
