Can be done well. - Non-profit org - Parent coaches, with some paid position-specific coaches (eg pitching, catching) - Local tournaments - No unnecessary team gear - Org focus on skill development and FUN - szn cost on par with local rec leagues

Realizing a source of confusion is Sterratore botches the explanation here, talking about whether Cooks is “down by contact” and saying there was dual possession going to the ground. The issue is Cooks does not survive the ground, so it was never a catch

An established ball carrier who hits the ground with control of the ball is down. A WR trying to secure a catch going to the ground must control through the ground. If DB didn’t catch it, would have been incomplete.
