Thank you, would you be able to get in touch with our support team at support.metamask.io? They will be able to delve deeper into what might have been the root cause of this. Initially you'll chat with an AI assistant but you should be able to get into contact with a human agent by requesting one after answering some of the AI assistant's initial questions.

We are continuing to receive reports of email phishing campaigns asking users to "verify" their wallet to comply with KYC regulations, along with other types of "verification mandates". These emails are SCAMS! MetaMask wallets are NOT ASSOCIATED with user email addresses!

@UiiU_100 Hi there and thanks for reaching out! MetaMask uses a 12-word Secret Recovery Phrase for wallet creation and restoration (it supports 24-word SRPs for restoration as well). It does not support restoration for 13-word Secret Recovery Phrases though.
