Jonathan Pettigrew, a 41-year-old Black father of SEVEN, was shot to death on a BX36 bus in the Bronx yesterday. Pettigrew was murdered for the crime of telling some deranged young Black male to stop yelling on the phone to whoever he was arguing with, as he was disturbing other passengers on the bus. Jonathan Pettigrew never made it home to his family because the animal who killed him felt entitled to "keeping it real" with his disgusting anti-social behavior, and fuck anyone who tries to enforce boundaries. Jonathan Pettigrew's murderer is NO different than Karmelo Anthony. Jonathan Pettigrew is NO different than Austin Metcalf. Karmelo Anthony received a THIRTY-FIVE YEAR sentence and will be eligible for parole after SEVENTEEN. Seeing as that boy should have received the death penalty, I'd say that sentence WAS "grace."

The one thing I never knew about the Austin Metcalf murder, was the timeline. The Metcalf brothers arrived at the stadium at 9:54am. Austin Metcalf was deceased at 10:00am. That’s how quick it was for his life to be taken. They got there at 9:54, walked over the bleachers and into the tent probably around 9:55am, and Karmelo Anthony followed them into that tent. They were only under that tent for about 4 to 4 1/2 minutes before Austin was mortally wounded. I feel that shows a lot more intent than originally thought. It’s not like Karmelo Anthony was in there, chillin, nice and comfortable because he had been there for a while. He followed the Metcalf brothers in there and immediately started provoking a fight and reaching in his bag. It was only 15 to 16 minutes from the time that they arrived, to the time Karmelo Anthony was led out in handcuffs. #RipAustinMetcalf

Before the Karmelo Anthony murder trial, there was a completely fabricated narrative that wasn’t presented in court. In reality, what seemed like a complex situation was actually quite simple. The force used was excessive, and there was no group attacking Karmelo. This was the correct decision.
