@Acerola_t But a fail state isn’t necessary. The key is still interactivity and a degree of player agency or choices that matter. I would argue a “game” that just consists of pressing the play button would be better served as a youtube video.

@imanands @threejs There is no such monopoly. IO games were a thing. Flash games were a thing. Newgrounds were a thing. Keyword is “were” and webgames will continue to struggle to monetise, as the real monopoly in gaming is primarily distribution.
