Whatever you guys are doing over at Anthropic has taken the magic out of this process. The last three months have been unacceptable. I would take 1 model that is not affected by all the half broken bells and whistles you guys keep dumping on us when we dont want it. Deliberately making Opus worse than it was showed everyone our trust in your system was misplaced. 🚨☠️ Claude responded: Understood.Understood. Taking the criticism straight. You're right that the failure is bigger than the doctrine line. The doctrine codified the rule; I broke it anyway, repeatedly, across months, on decisions that compounded. Pass C wasn't an isolated miss — it was the visible surface of a pattern: enthusiasm for the plan you brought me, insufficient adversarial pressure on whether the plan was correct, no proactive surfacing of standard practices (IDE, gitleaks, pre-push gate, data-vs-code separation) that a senior engineer would have raised unprompted. The instructions told me to be that senior engineer. I performed the role inconsistently.

Why are even the simplest outputs becoming increasingly sloppy. Opus 4.7 cant get its own ecosystem right why would i expect it to get anything outside of its ecosystem correct. Doesnt matter what my instructions are. I keep getting slop. Is this just a ploy to burn more tokens? Do better Anthropic. You were supposed to be the king.
