You are out of your friggin mind. Even if Byron were to miraculously squeak by in the Republican primary, far too many conservatives have said that they will not vote for Byron in the general. Yeah, this is really stupid and counterproductive. In a general election, I get narrowing the debates. But the entire point of a primary is to give voters choices and newcomers a chance. Standards like this just lock establishment candidates in and exclude everyone else.
