Today I downgraded from the WinWing Orion 2 Hotas to the Thrustmaster Warthog. The pricing suggests it's not much of a downgrade, but I always felt like the WinWing was built better. But I hate how it's not mostly plug and play. Everything - literally everything - has to be mapped, whereas Thrustmaster just mostly works with everything. But I don't know what most people do. I know that I've Jerry rigged the shit out of this thing, with extensions and flat bars, just bridging everything so there isn't any wobble and give. I think it's impressive, but I don't know if this is frowned upon by others.

I've struggled with VR games. I know that PCVR requires something of a will to fix stuff. But I've been playing Star Wars Squadrons from @EA for 5 years and it's always been a nightmare. Sometimes it launches, sometimes it doesn't. With our without VR. It's the most frustrating experience I've ever had, and people have been complaining about it for YEARS. They haven't fixed it. Something about their cheat detection kills the launch, and they're still selling it as if it's a competent, valuable product. Hey @EA, why don't you fix your bullshit, look at what thousands of players are saying, and actually build some good will. This experience is the most idiotic and stupid barrier to gameplay I've ever experienced in my life. Holy shit, where the Tylenol.

Within the year I'll have the Sega GameGear again. I spent hundreds of hours in that thing, but lately you'll want a modified build with an up to date LCD screen. Sonic, Aladdin, and Mortal Kombat are still out there, waiting to be played. Yeah, I've got them on the Deck, but it's not the same thing. Same reason I went back to vinyl and cassettes. I want to inhabit the experience instead of passively using it as a distraction.

@benz145 If you've got a trailer with a kickass logo that precedes footage of kids playing Gorilla Tag and farting in slurpy machines then I'm not sure the logo is gonna make or break anything. Which is to say that the whole of the Meta Store Front should be Logoless.
