@visualsancients I find it highly unlikely that someone is ‘restraining the bull’, but instead it’s more likely that we’re seeing three key moments from bull-jumping - grabbing the horns, vaulting over the bull, and sticking the landing.

Wealthy families shouldn’t even be applying for scholarships, nor should they accept them if offered. The acceptance into the school should be enough.

@decimusclaudius @romanarchaeouk Oh, wow … this is a new one for me. The ivy leaves seem to be more Dionysian that an indication of divinity. But I think what they mean is that it’s gold, and that alone is an indication of divinity in Egyptian religious iconography.
