I really don't care about soccer. I'm fully American and we have far better sports here. But the World Cup is fun. I'm looking forward to watching it play out. It's kind of like a world's fair over 2 months.

I get that Trump has been a Knicks fan his entire life. But considering who he now is, and the state of global politics, there is no way he should be attending this game. He puts himself at unnecessary risk while also severely limiting the enjoyment of the entire city.

I watched the 2nd inning. It seemed clear that the OU pitcher will be a solid MLB pitcher someday. Not so much for the KU pitcher. I hope it's not the same in Games 2/3.

@Fly_KansasCity Imagine being new to KC. You grab a ride to your hotel $ as you drive out of the airport, you notice that the speed limit gets lower 2 times because of a work zone. Yet as you continue onto I-29, you never see a work zone. Yep. It's as stupid as it sounds.

I'm thinking the Knicks might just be a better team. It looks like the Spurs were designed to beat OKC, but the Knicks are a bad matchup for them. Awesome for Knicks fans! And I have no reason to dislike them because the NBA has a salary cap!

On February 28, I paid 2.59 for gas. That's 1165 per month. On April 30, I was paying 4.29-1930/month. Today, I can pay 3.79-1705/month. Since March 1, I've paid 2295 more. Who got the $$ I paid? Trump? No. Iran? No. Politicians? No. Workers? No. Oil companies/shareholders.

This is what nailed the Chiefs last year. Since the Hill trade, the Mahomes/Jones split brought 3 Super Bowls and 2 titles. But last year's Jones stepped way back. Previous Jones wins 6 of 1st 7 losses for Chiefs.

Last thought on the trade- every championship team needs a closer. You can make a case the Rams have the best closer on both sides of the ball. Down by 4- Stafford can close out the game. Up by 4-Garrett can can do the same. Elite finishers.

Perhaps, just maybe, a big city shouldn't be named the same as it's neighbor. And for those pointing out KC was named first, it could've easily changed the name in 1861, when Kansas became a state. About 4500 people in the city 1861.

I agree the Royals have been bad. But I'll be curious to see where they are at the All-Star break and then again September 1. MLB is a LONG season. Games almost every day mess with the minds of impatient people (i.e. most). They are basically 2-3 in a NFL season.

I love how it seems all L.A. baseball fans keep supporting a "survival of the fittest" economic plan. Why? They think it helps the Dodgers. Yet their city and state constantly produces politicians who hate capitalism and promote communism. Weird, eh?
